Flashback Friday! Nonchalant- 5 O'Clock

This week on flashback Friday we take you back to 1996 when Nonchalant, a female MC/singer/songwriter from Washington DC released the smash hit single, '5 O'Clock'. It's been relatively quiet from her ever since but who could forget her hard hitting rhymes on this record that addressed a youthful urban population in crisis. Fourteen years later and the situation on the streets is not any better; as a matter of fact it has got worse with kids killing kids over silly and trivial issues. Shame rap artists rarely make songs like this anymore. How the hell are we supposed to save those we have lost to the streets? Five O'clock in the morning... Where U gonna be? Carry on Nonchalant!
